What does community work mean to you? Why did you become involved in community work?

I got into community work thanks to my children, who started visiting the local community centre a few years ago. Since they were there more often than at home, I was interested to see what these services offered. It took only one visit for me to know that I also wanted to get involved in community work, which is very close to my heart, and I like that I can achieve my goals with the help of the community workers.
